Obituary of Barbara A. Chorlton

Barbara A. ( Stewart ) Chorlton, of Delran, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, February 9, 2023 at Samaritan Inpatient Hospice, Mt. Holly, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Trenton, NJ, she was a longtime resident of Delran. Barbara retired from Manhattan Management (Berk & Berk, LLC), where she was employed as a secretary for almost 50 years. Barbara was a member of the Slackwood Fire Company as one of the first firewomen of the company, as well as the Ladies Aux and the New Jersey Fire Police. Daughter of the late Charles W. Sr. and Anna Stewart, wife of the late Richard J. Chorlton, Jr.; she is survived by her daughter Margaret and her son-in-law Daniel Marinella; her grandson Matthew Marinella; her step grandchildren Danielle and Jenny; her brother Charles and Alice Stewart; numerous nieces, nephews and many friends and co-workers. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at 11AM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648. Interment will be held at Princeton Cemetery, Princeton, NJ. Visitation for Barbara will be held on Saturday morning from 10-11AM at the funeral home.
