Cecelia B. Zukowski, 98, of Hamilton, NJ passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at Meadow Lakes, East Windsor, NJ.
Born in Mt Carmel, PA, she then moved with her loving husband Chester and became a longtime resident of Trenton, NJ before moving to Hamilton, NJ where she resided for 32 plus years with her loving and devoted son and daughter-in-law Paul and Brenda.
Cecelia is a retiree of Heinemann Electric, where she used her many talents to become a top-notch circuit breaker troubleshooter for many years. She was a longtime parishioner at St. Hedwig's Parish in Trenton, NJ. Some of her hobbies included attending all of her children’s football, baseball and basketball games, cooking for her family and friends, especially her family's favorite (pierogi), trips to the casinos, and attending many Bingo games with her sisters Theresa and Joan.
She also was an avid reader and sports fan following football, baseball and golf. Cecelia was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend who will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was the daughter of the late Paul and Della Swartz, wife of the late Chester A. Zukowski, mother of the late Ronald Zukowski; she is survived by her two sons and daughters-in-law Lawrence and Linda Zukowski, Paul and Brenda Zukowski; and Daughter-in-law Julianna Zukowski, her grandchildren Lee Zukowski, Alyssa Zukowski, Samantha and Matthew Nicholson, Thomas Zukowski, Julianna and Thomas Dougherty, Christian Zukowski; and her most prized bundle of joy her recently born great-grandson Thomas Ronald Dougherty; and several nieces, and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, February 13, 2023 at 11:00AM at St. Hedwig Parish, 872 Brunswick Avenue, Trenton, NJ 08638.
Interment will be held at St. Hedwig Cemetery, Ewing Twp.
The visitation for Cecelia will be held on Monday morning from 9:00 -10:30AM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.
