Shirley Mary Csercsevits, 88, departed this life on January 17, 2023 surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Lawrence, New Jersey, she was a lifelong Ewing Township resident. Shirley was a beautiful person who spread joy and happiness wherever she went. She was a graduate of Trenton High School and retired as a supervisor at Pantry Pride Enterprises Inc., located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Shirley spent her younger years drawing, painting and traveling around the world with her treasured girlfriends, experiencing life’s precious sights and collecting magnets as souvenirs from all across the globe. She enjoyed spending time with her friends at the Ewing Township Senior and Community Center, and Echo, Inc. Senior Center in Trenton, NJ. Shirley was a lifetime lover of animals and enjoyed the company of countless cats and dogs throughout her life, especially her cherished companion, Chance.
Daughter of the late Joseph Csercsevits, and Mary and Joseph Castranova, and brothers Joseph Csercsevits and Martin Csercsevits, Shirley is survived by her beloved daughter, Donna Lynne LaEzza and her companion Michael Racabaldo, dearest friends Donna Castanzo ( Bill), and Jacqueline Anderson Kraus. Shirley will be sorely missed by her many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 20, 2023 at 5:00PM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.
FAMILY REQUESTS MASKS BE WORN TO ENTER THE BUILDING
Relatives and friends can call on Friday afternoon from 4-6PM at the funeral home.
Interment will be held privately and at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Easel Animal Rescue League 4 Jake Garzio Dr, Ewing, NJ 08628.
