Obituary of Edward J. Andrzejewski

Edward J. Andrzejewski, 83, of Lawrenceville, died Tuesday at the Capital Health System at Mercer. Born in Trenton, he had resided in Lawrenceville since 1953. He was a retired machinist with DeLaval Steam Turbine Company formerly of Hamilton Township. Ed was an accomplished trumpet player and played with the Dick Chimes, and Lou Cordas Bands Mr. Andrzejewski was a Coast Guard veteran of World War II and the Korean War. During World War II he served in both the Pacific and European Theatres of Operation. He was a member of the Church of St. Ann in Lawrenceville, North Trenton American Legion Post #458, Lawrence Post #3022 Veterans of Foreign Wars, Catholic War Veterans, and St. Hedwig Knights of Columbus Council # 7244. Son of the late Henry and Helen Zamojski Andrzejewski, he is survived by his wife Marion Brindley Andrzejewski, two daughters Christina Wilder and her husband Patrick, and Paula Nerwinski, a son Thomas Nerwinski and his wife Barbara. Also surviving are three grandchildren, five great grandchildren, two nephews and a niece. The funeral will be held on Saturday at 10 AM from Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11 AM at the Church of St. Ann in Lawrenceville. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton. Family and friends may call on Friday from 6 to 9 PM at the funeral home. American Legion services will be held at 7 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in Ed's memory to the Disabled American Veterans, P.O. Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH. 45250-0301.
