Obituary of Caroline S. Zaccheus

Caroline S. Zaccheus was born in Mumbai, India to Arnold and Louiza Zaccheus on October 13, 1934. She went to high school at Christ Church in Mumbai, India. Following high school, she worked for The Film Center in India; Bertlin & Partners in Mombasa, Kenya. In 1985 she came to United States to live with her son Arnold and started a secretarial career with the State of New Jersey retiring from Department of Human Services. She enjoyed serving in her church, sharing her faith in Christ as a Christian to all who would listen, distributing ‘Our Daily Bread booklets’ and traveling until mobility enabled. She accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior at a young age and was a member at Westside Bible Baptist Church in Trenton NJ. Caroline is survived by her son Arnold Rajnoor (Janet) of Clarksville, Tennessee. Adopted daughter Nanda Jadhav (Chandrakant) of India, Grandsons Andrew and Alan Rajnoor of Clarksville, Tennessee; Krishna Jadhav (Neeta) of India; Granddaughter Kavita Jadhav and great-granddaughter Aishwerya of India; and great grandsons Isaiah and Anthony Rajnoor of Tennessee. She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Charles and Henry Zaccheus. She will be missed by a host of nieces, nephew, close friends and Westside family. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to all of Caroline’s adopted sons and daughters who have assisted her in many ways over the years. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, June 26, 2022 at 4PM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville NJ 08648. Reverend Tyrone A. Perkins will be officiating. Relatives and friends may gather on Sunday afternoon from 3-4PM at the funeral home. Interment will be held privately and at the convenience of the family.
