Robert S. Reali “Bob” “Bobby”,71 of Lawrenceville, passed away on Friday, May 6, 2022 at Capital Health Medical Center, Hopewell.
Born in Trenton, NJ, he was a longtime resident of Lawrenceville, NJ. Prior to employment with the county, he was a self-employed contractor with Salvatore Contracting. He is a retiree of Mercer County, where he was employed as a Maintenance Supervisor of the Mercer County Library System. Bobby was an ever-loving outdoors man. For 6 months out of the year, he enjoyed RV'ing with his wife and children on the beach. Fishing, swimming, hiking, campfires, songs, sharing good food and drinks, pig roasts, seafood feasts, reading, reading, reading and beautiful sunrises and extraordinary sunsets were some of the highlights of “The Way Life Should Be”. He took great pride in showing his sons the outdoor life-from camping, fresh and saltwater fishing, hunting deer, turkey, bear, caribou, pheasant, and wild boar to name a few. Bob was a founding member of the East Coast RV Rally under Lance Owners of America. Bob was most proud of his sons’ and their accomplishments and those of his grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Reading and a smart approach to life are some of the legacies his sons have made part of their lives. He was true to his spirit 'til the end-he lived life his way. We will all miss him dearly, and fondly remember husband, father, brother, uncle, cousin, dear friend, and Brother Bob’s/Camper Doctor wry sense of humor and love.
Son of the late Reynold and Pauline Reali; he is survived by his wife Cindy Reali; his sons and daughter-in-law Rob and Patty Reali, Ryan Reali, Randy Reali, and Russell Reali; his beloved grandchildren Bryan and Teresa Reali; his sister and brother-in-law Renee and Rick Mione, his brother Reynold Reali; his mother-in-law Marilyn Green; his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Brad and Heidi Green, Greg and Andrea Green; his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Kathy and Kevin Barrett, and Marci and Joe Hartley; his nieces and nephews Olivia Mione; Brett Reali, Cameron Miller Green, Michael Lentini, Emily Green, Jordan Green, Kayla Green, Conor Flagg, Kirsten Flagg, Tyler Meinz and Cara Meinz; many cousins, aunts, uncles East Coast Rally “family”, hunting club friends, beach “family”, Whitehead Vet friends and numerous family friends. .
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at 11AM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.
Interment will be held privately and at the convenience of the family.
The visitation for Bob will be held on Wednesday morning from 9:30-11:00AM at the funeral home.
