Obituary of Joyce F. Reed

Joyce F. Reed, 87, of Lawrenceville, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 25, 2022 at Queenstown Landing-Integra Care Assisted Living, Queenstown, MD. Born in Trenton, NJ, Joyce was a longtime resident of Lawrence Township, before moving to Grasonville, MD. She is a retiree of the Annex Restaurant in Princeton, where she was a waitress for 27 years. Joyce was the secretary of the Pioneers Club of America, and a longtime member of the Lawrence Road Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary. Some of her hobbies included bowling, caning and gardening. Daughter of the late Francis and Elsie Golden, wife of the late Linton Nelson Reed, Jr.; she is survived by two sons Linton N. III and his wife Irma Reed, Jeffrey Reed and his wife Tricia Metzger, her daughter Nancy Leszcynski and her husband Edward; her grandchildren Lindsay Garland and her husband Mat, Miki Anderson and her husband Colin, and Keishi Reed and his fiancé Chante Figures; her brother Jerry Golden, sister Gloria Johnson, three great-grandchildren Jordan Garland, Kai and Nami Anderson; many beloved nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 4, 2022 at 11:30AM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648. Interment will be held at later date. The viewing for Joyce will be held on Friday morning from 10-11:30AM at the funeral home.
