Obituary of Claire D Snyder

Claire D. Snyder, 72, of West Windsor, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 30, 2021 at home, under the care of her family. Born in Trenton, NJ, she was a life-long resident of West Windsor. Claire retired from the Monroe Twp., Board of Education, where she was employed as an English Teacher for 33 years. She was an avid gardener and loved growing raspberries. Claire was a member of the NJEA and the NJREA. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Daughter of the late John F. and Lois Robbins; she is survived by her husband of 53 years, Kenneth A. Snyder; two daughters and one son-in-law Lori and Jeffrey Howell, and Michelle Snyder; her grandchildren Hudson, Holden and Harmony Howell, Jacob and Brady Warren; her sister and brother-in-law Gale and Keith Rainier; her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Bob and Carol Snyder, Barry and Jane Snyder and Myrtle Cowan; several nieces and nephews. Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648 will host visitation on Wednesday October 6, 2021 from 9:00-10:30 AM. Funeral services will be held immediately following visitation at 10:30AM.
