Obituary of Geraldine Olender

Geraldine “Gerry” Olender, 78, of Trenton, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at Capital Health Regional Medical Center, Trenton. Born in Trenton, NJ, Gerry remained a lifelong Trenton resident. She was graduate of Notre Dame High School, Class of 1964. Gerry retired in 2003, where she was employed as an administrative assistant for the New Jersey Department of Family Services. She was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. Gerry will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Predeceased by her parents William and Stephanie Olender; she is survived by her sister and brother-in-law Bernadette and Larry Pietras; her loving and devoted life partner Bruce Briel; special aunt Ceil Starzyk,; cousins Cindy and her husband William Liatys, Jessica and Brandon Liatys, Robert Starzyk, Ryan Starzyk, Jacqueline and her husband Gary Zeis, and Eric Zeis; her wonderful and helpful neighbors Adam and Gladys Gutierres. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, August 14, 2021 at 11AM at St. Hedwig Cemetery, Ewing, NJ. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
