Obituary of John E. Orloff, Jr.

John E. Orloff, Jr.,74, of Lawrenceville, passed away on Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at Overlook Medical Center, Summit, NJ. Born in Plainfield, NJ, John was a former resident of Pleasanton, CA, before moving to Lawrenceville 37 years ago. He is a retiree of National Starch and Chemical in Bridgewater, NJ, after many years of dedicated service. John was a parishioner at The Church of St. Ann and a member of the Trenton Country Club. He was an avid golfer, a die-hard Yankees fan, enjoyed traveling, sailing, the outdoors, watching and feeding birds, and sitting in the sun and taking in the beauty that nature offered. John was a wine connoisseur having traveled to vineyards throughout the U.S and France. He was a man who simply adored his family, friends and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. Predeceased by his parents John and Lyda Orloff, his sister Susan Nicholson, his wife Monica Orloff; he is survived by his children Megan Orloff and her companion Peter Williams, and Darren Orloff and his wife Lindsay; his beloved granddaughter Harper Orloff; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, August 9, 2021, at 10:30AM at The Church of St. Ann, 1253 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648. Attendees are asked to arrive at the church no later than 10:15AM. Interment will be held at the Lawrenceville Cemetery. The viewing for John will be held on Sunday, August 8, 2021, from 2-4PM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.
