Obituary of Susan B. Donovan

Susan B. Donovan,79, of Lawrenceville, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Manhattan, NY, she was a longtime resident of Princeton before moving to Lawrenceville in 2006. Susan is a retiree of Union Carbide Dow (IPAC), where she was a customer service representative for many years. She was a longtime parishioner at The Church of St. Ann, and was on numerous committees including being a church counter as well a a member of the parish council. Susan was also an involved member of the Gatherings community. Whether it was her Irish Soda bread or serving as the social committee treasurer, she was always looking to help others. Predeceased by her parents Daniel and Helen Keohane, her sisters Helen Boyd and Jean Dalton, her brothers-in-law Andy Boyd and Bob Mills, her husband John W. “Jack” Donovan; she is survived by her daughter Kathleen Hussey; her grandchildren Kenneth, Kevin and Kyle Hussey; her sister Joan Mills, and her brother-in-law Richard Dalton; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, May 24, 2021 at 10:30AM at The Church of St. Ann, 1253 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648. Interment will be held privately and at the convenience of the family. The viewing for Susan will be held on Sunday evening from 5-7PM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.
