Helen Lorraine Knobl, 93, of Robbinsville, passed away on Friday, March 26, 2021 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton. Born in Trenton, NJ, she was a longtime resident of Lawrenceville, until moving to Robbinsville years ago. Helen is a retiree of the Hopewell Valley School District, where she was employed as an administrative assistant for many years. She was a parishioner at The Church of St. Ann. Helen enjoyed travelling and would often take trips to Disney World when she and her husband were raising their family. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend who will be dearly missed. Predeceased by her parents John L. and Mabel Sullivan, her husband John F. Knobl; she is survived by her children and their spouses John and Maura Knobl, Kris and Tom Palombo, and Diane and Jeff Jolly; her grandchildren Kevin Knobl and Courtney Russo, Sarah, Michael and Emily Palombo, and Josh Jolly and Rebecca Simons, her great-grandchildren Alex Russo, Bastian and Dahlia Palombo, Isabella, Jaron, Luke, Phineas Jolly, and Aidan and Liam Knobl. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at 11AM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648. Visitation will be held from 9:30AM until the time of the service. Inurnment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hamilton. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations ca be made to www.stjude.org
