Obituary of Evelina Gargione

Evelina (Carnevale) Gargione passed away peacefully at Brandywine Living of Princeton on March 7, 2021. She was 92. Evelina was born in Princeton New Jersey and grew up on Coventry farm on Great Road. She was a graduate of Princeton High School, attended West Minster Choir College and graduated from Rider University. She was a lifelong employee of Bell Telephone Company and a member of Pioneers of America. She loved piano, painting, travel, and time with her family. She married Frank Gargione (d) and they lived on Fieldboro Drive in Lawrence Township with Frank’s mother Fidelia (d). She was the daughter of Christina Amalia (Palumbo) Carnevale and Angelo Carnevale Sr. and sister to Nicholas, Alfanso, and Angelo Carnevale all deceased. She is survived by Sister-in-laws Sister Luisa Gargione and Marjorie Carnevale, nephews Lawrence, Douglas, Shawn, Angelo, and niece Marie Carnevale. Evelina is predeceased by her husband Frank’s uncles: James Gargione(Julia), Mario Gargione(Macrina), Nicola Gargione(Carolina) and Frank Nese(Blandina). Frank’s cousins: Giuseppina Fronzuti (Vincent), Frank Gargione, Gus Fronzuti and Joe Belardo which she has remembered with affection. She is survived by Frank’s immediate and extended families who are very dear to Evelina. The Gargione, Arighi, Garcia, Provost, Lestician, Lusk, Conrad, Gomes families. The Paragano and Estrada families. The Nese-Holbig and Sassano families. The Belardo and LaRagione families. The Fronzuti, DeAndrea and Firmani families. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, March 11, 2021 at 10:30AM at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Cedar Lane, Hamilton Twp. Attendees are asked to arrive no later than 10:15AM. Donations may be made in lieu of flowers to The Church of Saint Ann, 1253 Lawrence Road Lawrenceville or the Parkinson foundation.
