My family and I are so sorry to hear of Ivette's passing. We think of her strength, brilliance, family dedication, loving caring, strong faith, laughter, justice-promoting, community-building, quick wit, energy, beauty inside-and-out, fierceness, and more! I came to know Ivette many years ago through our mutual friends. As my family and I think of Ivette, our hearts go out to her extended family, friends, colleagues, and others who are sharing the wonderful memories of times with her -- and as we all mourn that her time here on earth has been so short. With prayers and in God's love during this sad and challenging time, and in continuing empathy and much celebration of Ivette's special, love-filled, inspirational, and impactful life -- Kirsten and family
