Obituary of Consuela Teresa Ullah

Consuela Teresa Ullah, a retired nurse and resident of Lawrenceville, passed away on Monday, January 18, 2021 at the age of 72 while receiving care at AristaCare in Manchester Twp., NJ. Consuela is survived by her two daughters, Teresa Scott and Angélique Mansell; her son-in-law, Fred Mansell; her grandchildren, Gabriel Scott, Marianna Castro-Scott, Silas Mansell and Simone Mansell; and her husband, Ikram Ullah. She is predeceased by her parents Kenneth F. and Antoinette C. King; and her brother, Tony Kincade. Consuela was born on October 27, 1948 in Newark, NJ and spent her earlier years in Bristol and Levittown, PA. She later moved with her family to Trenton, NJ and became a graduate of the Princeton School of Practical Nursing, class of 1967. After graduation, she immediately started working at Princeton HealthCare Systems (Princeton Hospital and Princeton House Behavioral Health) as a Licensed Practical Nurse and retired from there after 47 years. The night shift is what this dedicated nurse preferred. Her co-workers vouch that she was meticulous, always helped her team, stayed past her shift when needed, and truly cared about her patients. She was a mother to all who worked with her. She gave herself selflessly to others and was genuinely kind. Her laughter was contagious. When it came to events and plans, punctuality wasn’t enough, she needed to be 20 minutes early. And what pride she took in having perfect credit--no bill was ever paid late. Consuela loved having a good meal with family and friends. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and celebrating their milestones. She loved dogs, particularly Shih Tzus. She spent her free time crocheting blankets, playing Word Chums, and chatting it up with close friends and neighbors. While she was raised in the Catholic Church, she later found comfort and enjoyed God’s word at a Presbyterian church. Consuela was a loving mother, grandmother, wife and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 25, 2021 from 11am - 12pm at Poulson & Van Hise 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.
