I am so sorry that you have lost both your parents in such a short period of time. I first met Herman and Shirley in the late 1960s through mutual friends in music, but it was when Herman was music director at Trinity Methodist that I came to know him better professionally. He was a talented director who managed to get his choir to achieve more than they believed possible. Both Herman and Shirley brought beautiful music to the people around them.
