Obituary of Virginia Kozlowski

Virginia Kozlowski, nee Rybicki, 94, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at Kensington Park Senior Living in Maryland. Born in Trenton, NJ, she was a lifelong resident of Lawrenceville before moving to Kensington, Maryland in 2017 to be closer to her daughter. Ginny was a Dental Assistant for over 50 years working for many prominent dentists in the area. She was on the Social Committee for many years at her Lawrenceville Point community and was a longtime member of the Holy Rosary Society of St. Hedwig’s Church. Ginny loved to bake, cook and entertain. She enjoyed sharing her soups and other delicious foods with her friends and neighbors in Lawrenceville and in her winter home in Marco Island, FL. And she loved her Phillies, attending as many baseball games as she could. Predeceased by her parents Anthony and Agnes Rybicki, her husband of 58 years William Kozlowski, her brothers Charles and Edward Rybicki, her sisters Genevieve Dzwiak, Emily Sulzberger and Estelle Arcioni; she is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Kathleen and Michael Mierzewski and many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at 11:00AM at St. Hedwig Church, 872 Brunswick Avenue, Trenton, NJ 08638. There will be no calling hours. All attendees are asked to arrive to the church no later then 10:45AM as the Mass will begin promptly at 11AM. Please observe all social distancing guidelines and masks must be worn at all times. A private entombment will be held at St. Mary’s Mausoleum, Hamilton, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ginny’s memory to any local food bank of your choice.
