Therese J. Eaton, 89, of Ewing, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at Brookdale Florence, Florence Twp. Born in South River, NJ, she was a former resident of Ewing, a resident of Lawrenceville for 60 years, before moving to Florence 3 years ago. Therese was a longtime parishioner at St. Hedwig Church. She volunteered countless hours cooking and being a school aide and taking care of elderly neighbors. Some of her hobbies included cooking for family, traveling, camping and fishing on Lake Saranac. Predeceased by her parents Michael and Steffania Kalasin; her daughter Laurie Ogin, her son Bryan Eaton and her husband George Eaton; she is survived by her son and daughter-in-law George and Jean Eaton, her daughter Sharon Moore, 4 grandchildren Jill, Sean, Laura and Janice,7 great-grandchildren Olivia, Jadyn, Danny, Derek, Conor, Jocelyn and Julianna; several nieces, nephews and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, February 7, 2020 at 11AM at St. Hedwig Church 872 Brunswick Avenue, Trenton, NJ 08638. Interment will be held privately and at the convenience of the family. There will be a gathering for family and friends on Friday morning from 9-10AM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.
