Obituary of Alexandria Alice Jusiewicz

Alexandria T. Jusiewicz, 85, known to her friends as Alice, died Saturday, August 23, 2008 at the Capital health Systems at Mercer. Born in Trenton she resided in the Township of Ewing. Alice retired from the Acme Hamilton Manufacturing in Trenton after 20 years of service. Alice was a devoted wife and mother and throughout her life she dedicated a considerable amount of time and support to the Catholic Church. She was a member of the Saint Hedwig Roman Catholic Church, its Rosary Society, a former member of the Saint Hedwig School PTA and the American Legion Post 458 Ladies Auxiliary. In appreciation of her support and dedication to the church, school, and community she was awarded the 2000 Senior Citizen of the Year Award presented by the Saint Hedwig's Knights of Columbus. Daughter of the late Bronislaw and Stefania Lepkowska Dzieminski, wife of the late Joseph A. Jusiewicz, and sister of the late Sophie Dobrowolski and Felix Dzieminski, she is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law: Joseph and Lois Jusiewicz of Lawrence, John and Linda Jusiewicz of Ewing, and Edward and Merry Jusiewicz of Browns Mills; 5 granddaughters: Jennifer and Kevin Dugal, Amy and Stephen Tkacs, Sarah, Christa, and Lori Jusiewicz; a sister Mary A. Mikolajczyk, a brother William Dzieminski both of Trenton; three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Her funeral will be held on Wednesday at 9 AM from Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10AM at St. Hedwig Church, Trenton. Burial will be in the St Hedwig Cemetery, Ewing. Friends may call on Tuesday from 6 to 9 PM at the funeral home.
