Frederick F. Daubert, 83, of Holland, Pa died Friday at St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne, Pa.
Born in Trenton, Mr. Daubert resided in Lower Makefield Twp., PA for 51 years prior to his move to Twining Village 1 ½ years ago.
He retired in 1990 after 45 years employment with Trenton Sheet Metal. He was an Army veteran of World War II having served in the European Theatre. He was a member and former Post Commander of American Legion Post #93 and also was a member of the 112th Field Artillery Association.
Mr. Daubert was a member for many years of the Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War, Grand Army of the Republic, Camp 100. He was very involved with the groups' museum located at the 112th Field Artillery Association in Lawrenceville. He was also an avid woodworker and as such produced display cases for the museums many artifacts housed there.
He was a lifelong member and a former Trustee of St. Paul United Methodist Church of Trenton.
Son of the late Frank and Louise Hammel Daubert, husband of the late Shirley Robinson Daubert and father of the late Cathy Lynn Daubert Larsen, he is survived by his daughters, Linda Devlin and her husband Brian of Hopewell, NJ and Nancy and Dr. James Riesenberger of Newtown, Pa; his grandchildren, Sean and Matthew Devlin and Connor, Rebecca and Nolan Riesenberger; and his sister Jennie Prant of Fairless Hills, Pa.
Mr. Daubert's funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 12 Noon at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Rd. Lawrenceville. The Rev. Dr. Robert Williams will officiate with burial to follow in Colonial Memorial Park, Hamilton.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 10 AM until time of services at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Sons of Union Veterans, G.A.R., Museum located at the 112th Field Artillery Association, 101 Eggert Crossing Rd., Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.
