Obituary of Suzanne Russo

Suzanne Russo, 89, of Lawrenceville died peacefully at home on Friday June 29th surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Berty Nord, France she met her husband during WWII and immigrated from France to the United States in 1946 and has resided in Lawrenceville for the past 70 years.

She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great-grand mother.

Daughter of the late Paul and Emelia Andries and wife of 59 years to the late John P. Russo, Sr., she is survived by her sisters in France, Paulette Dervaux, Jeanine Feray and Simone Andries; her four children, sons John Russo and his wife Diana and Paul Russo and his wife Catherine; her daughters, Theresa “Terry” Tucker and her husband Thomas and Simone Russo and her partner Karen Baker. Also surviving are her 6 grandchildren, James Russo and his wife Lisa Tomaszewski, Stephanie Laudien and her husband Harold, Lisa Kuzviwanza and her husband Anthony, Michael Tucker and his wife Christine, Bryan Russo and his wife Leigh and Kristina Tucker; her 8 great-grandchildren, Mia and Emma Laudien, William Russo, Kayla, Karlee and Mason Kuzviwanza, Liliana and Alexandra Russo; her caregiver Felecia Dormoh and many nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Suzanne will be celebrated on Tuesday July 3rd at 11:30 AM at the Church of St. Ann, 1253 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648. Entombment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery Mausoleum, Hamilton.

Visitation for relatives and friends will be held on Tuesday beginning at 9:30 AM in the daily chapel at the church.
