Obituary of Petrina A Serge

Petrina A. Serge, 65 of Lawrenceville, died Friday at the University Medical Center of Princeton.Born in New Brunswick, she had been a Lawrenceville resident for the past twenty years.Before she dedicated her time and energy to raising her family, Patty was a hairstylist for ten years.She enjoyed gardening, was a member of the Lawrenceville gardening community for over 20 years, and was revered by her family as quite a horticulturist, having many varieties of orchids and exotic plants.Patty was a dear, loyal, and dependable friend of many.Daughter of the late Samuel and Carmela Mazza Fama, and mother of the late David Anthony Serge, she is survived by her husband, Anthony Serge, her daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly and James Wilsey, her brother and sister-in-law, Peter and Chris Fama, her brothers-in-law; Michael Serge, and Frankie Serge and his wife Cindy, her sisters-in-law; Carolyn Muller and her husband Gernhardt, Mary Zimmerman and her husband Jack, Reverend Ruby Narucki and her husband Marcel, Pamela Keller and her husband Bob, Barbara Getz and her husband Andy, and Valerie Takacs and husband Gregory Mcdonald, forty one nieces and nephews and her beloved cat Mrow.Patty's funeral will be held on Thursday at 10 AM from Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 AM at the Church of St. Ann, Lawrenceville. Burial will be private.Friends may call on Wednesday from 6 to 9 PM at the funeral home.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Susan G.
