Susan Terranova, 96, of Lawrence Twp, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 7, 2017 at Hamilton Continuing Care Center, Hamilton. Born in Trenton, NJ, she was a resident of Lawrenceville for 54 years before moving to Bordentown and then Hamilton. Susan was previously employed by Stuart Country Day School and Lawrence Junior High School as a cook and is a retiree of the Trenton Diocese, where she was cook for many years. Susan was a member of American Legion Post#458, Lawrence Road Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary and St. Ann Church and its’ Altar Rosary Society. Daughter of the late Generossa and Mariannana Picarello, wife of the late Vincent Terranova; she is survived by her children Louise Simonelli Matson, Matthew Terranova and his wife Marie and James Simonelli and his wife Christine. Also her grandchildren Ann Marie Adamko and Mark, Lisa Lawlor and Marjorie Forbes, Michael and Tracy Simonelli, Melissa Simonelli and Jeff Newinski, Danielle and Andrew Franz, and Mario and Christine Gagliardi; numerous loving great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. A Memorial Mass for Susan will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at 11:00AM at The Church of St. Ann 1253, Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648. There will be no calling hours prior to Mass. Attendees are asked to arrive at the church no later than 10:45AM. Inurnment will follow at Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, Hamilton.
