Carol Ann Clemen-Jasiewicz was called home to be with the Lord on Monday, November 20, 2017 at Compassionate Care Hospice, Hamilton, NJ. Born in Trenton, NJ on July 23, 1946, to the late Theodore and Eleanora Clemen; her grandmother Nina Catherine Matthews; uncles Willard Matthews, Bert Matthews and Fred Clemen, Aunts Vivian Daly, Nina May VanMorter ,Shirley Groover, and her father-in-law Andrew John Jasiewicz; Carol leaves behind to mourn her husband of 44 years Andrew Paul Jasiewicz; her daughter and son-in-law Kelsey Marie and Daniel Goldy; her grandson Daniel Goldy, Jr. “DJ”; her brother and sister-in-law Theodore and Linda Clemen; her sister-in-law and brother-in-law Arlene and William Coleman; two nieces Paula Focazio and her husband Martin and Myrna Coleman; her nephew Andrew Coleman; two great-nieces Evelyn and Louise Focazio, her great-nephew Martin Focazio; her godchildren Bruce and Jamie VanMorter, Khrissy Green, Jeffrey Conner and Patricia Paterson. In life, Carol valued both her family and her many friends. Her Sunday dinners and holidays with them were always her favorite times. Carol was an avid Girl Scout Leader for the St. Ann’s and St. Raphael’s parishes. She held a seat on The International Order of Rainbow for girls Advisory board for Trenton assembly number 9. Carol received many awards and recognition for her dedication to both organizations. Carol was also a member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians Monsignor Crean Div. #1, The Order of the Eastern Star, where she held many chair positions including Worthy Matron and Grand Representative to Utah, and Vice-President of Lawrence Road Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary. Carol loved children and her kindness to them was returned by the love shown to her over the years by the many children whose lives she touched. Funeral services will begin on Monday at 10AM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648. . A Mass of Christian burial will be held on 11AM at The Church of St. Ann 1253 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648. Interment will follow held privately and at the convenience of the family. Relatives and friends can call on Sunday, November 26, 2017 from 3:00-6:00PM and again on Monday morning from 9:30-10:00AM at the funeral home. Order of Eastern Star services will be held at 5PM In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Special Olympics New Jersey of Mercer County 1 Eunice Kennedy Shriver Way, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648. Please make check payable to SONJ Mercer County.
