Dear Pat and Connie and family,
We share your pain at this difficult time at losing our dear Uncle Walt. I wish I had a voice to say the prayer at the graveside that he said at so many veteran gravesides over the years while he proudly played TAPs on the bugle. The prayer that you are familiar with that can be shared with all is as follows:
This banner of love and devotion, the stars and stripesthe Flag of the USA, now being folded, is a living memorial of the courageous thoughts of our comrade, the one you came here to honor this day, Walter P. Kramarz.
The blue fields represent the sky that overlooks our land and denotes the watchfulness of God the Eternal.
The red stripes tell us of the blood, sweat, and tears that have been offered and conquered by our comrades' devotion to the responsible freedom of his Country.
The white stripes boldly proclaim the peace that he helped to bring to our future generations.
This is his flag. This is our spiritual heritage.
Receive it with the tears of our minds and the faith of our hearts. AMEN.
Rest in peace Uncle Walt and God love you.

I want to add my condolences to the Kramarz family on the death of Walter.
I got to know him during my past visits to the Catholic War Veteran Post 417 affairs, particularly his "bugle" playing during many ceremonies.
We returned home last evening and learned that Walter had died.
May Walter now bask in the eternal light of heaven with Jesus and all of the angels.

Dear Pat & Family,
I hope that in this time of sadness those of us that Walt has left behind remember that he was one of the greats! And I am certain that he had an express pass to the front of the line at heaven's gates. I know that your mom and my dad, Dick Lloyd, will be overjoyed to see him again. He touched so many lives and made us all the better for knowing him. All my love and prayers,

Pat & Kramarz Family,
I am saddened to hear of Walter's passing. He was such a patriot and supporter of veterans and service members. He invited me to speak at his Legion Hall during a veterans ceremony. He never forgot me. I will miss his patriotic cards and personal messages sent during every holiday. I was so happy he attended my retirement dinner. Sorry we can not attend his services, Maryann and I are away. He will be missed but not forgotten. May he rest in peace.

To the Kramarz family,
MY sympathy and prayers on the passing of Walter.
He was always a behind the scenes man and never looked for recognition for the countless things he did and the people he helped.
Few people ever knew of a certain Irish establishment that got open by St.Patricks Day thus saving the owner from financial ruin, due to Walters intervention and cutting through the red tape at the request of Joe Lech and myself.
A strong and supporting member of the Sunshine Foundation and Operation Dreamlift.
Rest in Peace Walt for you deserve it.

To Walter's family:
I am shocked and saddened at Walt's passing. I always felt he was indistuctable! I met him as my trainee when he came to work in the early 60's as a health inspector. Being the only two in the office with the same ethnic background, we became friends and comrades. He did so much in making my move into our first home in 1964, and would take a dime for all his help. This attitude prevailed for all the years I knew him. Always willing to help, and would take no compensation for his labors. Rest in Peace old buddy, you certainly have earned it. My deepest sympathy to you all, I share your loss.
Sincerely

Walt Kramarz was a gentleman and he always had a smile for anyone he come across during his day. As a Trenton Police Officer assigned to foot post 10 in North Trenton my partners, Mel Weeast and John Hanusi and I met him often during our tours, especially on the night tour when we stopped into the Top Road Tavern on Brunswick Ave., there the members of signal 22 would stop in for their pizzas after their monthly meetings. RIP Walt, it was an honor knowing you.
