Anthony Michael “Mickey” Marion, Sr., 85, of Lawrenceville, passed away on Monday, September 25, 2017 at home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Trenton, NJ he was a longtime Trenton area resident. He was a Veteran of the Korean Conflict, having proudly served his country with the US Navy. Mickey is a retiree of American Steel and Wire, where he retired as a machinist after many years of service. He was a longtime parishioner at St. Hedwig Church and a member of the Trenton Polish America Democratic Society “T.P.A.D.S”. Some of his hobbies included fishing, playing cards, and playing chess. Son of the late Nelson and Vera Mary Marion; brother of the late John, Robert and Richard Marion; he is survived by his wife Doris Marion; his daughter Donna Calderone; his son and daughter-in-law Anthony Michael Jr and his wife Toni Marion; and his daughter and son-in-law Lisa Marion Pointin and her husband Eric Pointin; his grandchildren Zachary and Nicholas Calderone and Alex and Sarah Marion; his siblings Gwen Knott, Phyllis Navarro and Joseph Marion and his wife Josephine; and his sister-in-law Delores Marion; many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, September, 29, 2017 at 11AM at St. Hedwig Church 872 Brunswick Avenue, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648. Interment will follow at St. Hedwig Cemetery, Ewing, NJ. Relatives and friends can call for Mickey on Friday morning from 9-10AM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Alzheimer’s Association 196 Princeton Hightstown Rd, Princeton Jct, NJ 08550.
