Catherine B. Evans, 93, passed away on Monday, August 14, 2017 at Capital Health Medical Center, Hopewell Twp. Born in Trenton, Catherine was a resident of Ewing for 51 years. She has previously worked for NJ Bell Telephone, but had been a homemaker most of her life. Catherine was a former member of the Lawrenceville Grange# 170. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and friend, who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Daughter of the late Elmer and Katherine Bender, wife of the late T. Richard Evans, Jr.; she is survived by her children and their spouses Linda E. and Walter Brown, T. Richard III and Deborah Evans and Edward E. and Virginia Evans; her grandchildren Ashley Callahan and her husband Thomas, Matthew and James Evans. Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 18, 2017 at 11AM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648. Interment will follow at Ewing Church Cemetery. Relatives and friends can call on Friday morning from 10AM until the time of the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Catherine’s memory to the Lawrence Road Presbyterian Church Nursery School Scholarship Fund, 1039 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648
