My sister Nancy already posted here. I have similar memories of "Midge". She always brought Ricky with her when she visited my mother, June, in Maryland. She was proud of her wonderful family. In later years, we saw her very infrequently since we moved quite far away. However, the one visit we made was obviously greatly anticipated by Mildred. She really cared about us who she rarely saw....she continued to make the effort to stay in touch. She laid out a spread of food for us .... like the "old days". I have lots of fond memories of visits to our New Jersey relatives and all the great food they would prepare for us whenever we visited as children. Mildred was a remarkable person. She will be greatly missed I am sure by her family and friends.

Mildred was my mother's cousin - my mother called her "Midge." She was a friendly, lively person, who sometimes brought her grandson for a visit when i was growing up. In later years, I visited Mildred with my own family at her home on the Delaware River and she was always so hospitable and welcoming. She was also a great correspondent, especially at the holidays. As Mildred grew older, I enjoyed visited with her at Kathleen and Dick's home. They did so much for her.
I will always remember Cousin Mildred. Rich and I send our heartfelt condolences on her passing.
