To the Wengler Family: I was so saddened to hear of John's passing. I started working with John a few years ago when my company, Naylor, started working with IEEE PES. Even though I never met John in person he was always very nice and helpful when I needed him. All of you will be in my prayers, and I pray John is in the company of God and at peace. RIP John. You will be missed.

To the Wengler family: I am so deeply sorry for your loss. John was an amazing man. I was privileged to live with him for 3 years at Fordham and to be a lifelong friend. John has so many friends, I could not even keep track. He was kind to everyone. People gravitated to John because he was kind and fun. John spread laughter always. We had great times and great memories together. I will never forget his snoring, our naps between classes, and his infectious smile. I will never forget how John taught me to have fun, and enjoy life. I am a better person because of John. Buddy, my thoughts and prayers will always be with you and your beautiful family. God's peace.

To John's wife and children,
As our college fraternity song goes we will never forget the time we spent in Alpha Kappa Psi. I will not forget the times we shared back at Fordham in the late 80's. He helped me grow up and I am thankful for that. You all will be in my prayers. John DeVivo
