William Anderson, 62, of Plainsboro passed away peacefully on Monday at the Merwick Care & Rehabilitation Center in Plainsboro. Born in Paterson, Bill was a resident of Clifton, NJ and Bushkill, PA before moving to Plainsboro in 2011. He was a graduate of Parsippany High School and received his B.A. from Montclair State College. Bill was an aficionado of both movies and music, especially Bob Dylan and was an instructor with The Peppermint Players of the Children’s Theater Workshop in South Orange. He was also well known as a total NY Mets fan and enthusiast as well. But, Bill’s greatest accomplishment and treasure were his children. Son of the late William Anderson, Sr. he is survived by his children, Katherine and Matthew Anderson; his mother, Angela Castelluccio Anderson; his brothers, Kenneth and Steven Anderson; his sisters, Margaret Kaye, Laurie Anderson, Patti Tobin, Dawn Henderson and many nieces and nephews. A time of remembrance for Bill will be held on Thursday at 8 PM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648. Visitation with the family will be from 2 to 4 PM and 7 to 9 PM on Thursday at the funeral home. Cremation will be private.
