James L. Mount, Jr., 85, of Hamilton, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Trenton, NJ, James was a resident of Hamilton for 61 years. He is a Veteran of the Korean Conflict, having proudly and honorably served his country with the US Navy. In the 1950’s he was assistant scout master with the Boy Scouts Troop #28. James is a retiree of Pennsylvania Truck Lines, where he was employed as a truck driver for 30 years. After his retirement, he worked as a truck driver for Cumberland Farms for 10 years. He was an elder and deacon at Lawrence Road Presbyterian Church. James was an outdoorsman, enjoyed square dancing and sharing his life stories with loved ones and friends. His last message to all was “Last tag”. Son of the late James L and Clara Mount, brother of the late Claire Looney; he is survived by his loving wife Irene G. Mount; his daughter and son in-law Cathy D. and Frederick F. Fisher, Sr.; his grandchildren Frederick F. Fisher, Jr.and his wife Jade E. Fisher and Christa M. Harbor and her husband D. Eric Harbor; his great-grandson Aiden James Harbor; two brothers William and Edward Mount; two sisters Ann Nalbone and Patricia Brustle; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at 11AM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650, Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648. Interment will follow at Fountain Lawn Memorial Park, Lawrenceville. The viewing for James will be held on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 from 6-8PM at the funeral home.
