James Francis Curry III of Lawrenceville, passed away on January 30, 2017 at the age of 67. He graduated from Jersey City College and went on to have a successful career in education. He retired from the New Jersey Department of Education, where he worked for over 20 years.
Jim was known for his fashionable style, his love for building model ships and airplanes, and his eclectic taste in music, ranging from The English Beat to Nine Inch Nails. He was a unique soul who brought light to everyone who knew him, even people who only knew him for a brief time.
He is predeceased by his parents James and MaryEllen Curry. He is survived by the love of his life, Elaine, his sister Mary Ellen and his children, Sarita, James, Johanna, and Perri, as well as many friends he considered his family.
The family will hold a private celebration of life in the spring.
