Obituary of Virginia Braun

Virginia Braun, 94, of Lawrenceville passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at Morris Hall Meadows, Lawrenceville, NJ. Born in Trenton, NJ, she was a longtime resident of Ewing Twp., before recently moving to Lawrenceville. Virginia is a retiree of the Ewing Twp. Board of Education, where she was employed as a teacher for many years. She was a deaconess, Sunday school teacher, a member of the Ladies Bible study and lifelong member of Central Baptist Church, A Christ Centered Church in Ewing Twp. Daughter of the late Arthur and Olive Trout, sister of the late Reverend Roger A. Trout, mother of the late Terry and Barry Braun and wife of the late William C. Braun Jr.; she is survived by her granddaughter Melissa Braun; her nieces and their spouses Trudy and Ken Dougherty, Jane and Dr. Richard Clippinger and Holly Kaniewski; her nephew and his spouse Roger and Colleen Trout; her friend and former daughter-in-law Linda Whartenby Scheideler. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, February 5, 2017 from 1-3PM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648. A private funeral service will be held on Monday with Pastor Richard Gay officiating. Interment will follow at Princeton Memorial Park, Robbinsville, NJ.
