Agnes C. Hoffmann, 89, of Lawrenceville, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 11, 2016 at home. Born and raised in Allentown, PA, Agnes was a longtime resident of Lawrenceville. She was a graduate of Allentown Business School. Agnes met the love of her life Richard Hoffmann, a WWII fighter pilot, who had recently graduated from Lehigh University with his degree in Engineering. Agnes enjoyed selling real estate with Steven J. Krol in Lawrenceville and Weidel realtors in Princeton. Her main passion was raising her family. Agnes was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend who will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her. Daughter of the late John and Caroline Solomon; she is survived by her husband Richard A. Hoffmann; her son Rick Hoffmann of Lawrenceville, her daughter Cheryl Petrie of Lake Oswego, OR; five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; her sister Carolyn Litt of New Zealand and several other family members. Graveside services for Agnes will be held on Thursday, December 15, 2016 at 10:00AM at Our Lady of Czestochowa Cemetery 654 Ferry Road Doylestown, PA 18901. Relatives and friends can call on Wednesday, December 14, 2016 from 5:30-7:30PM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Paul’s Roman Catholic Church 214 Nassau Street, Princeton, NJ 08542 or to The Church of St. Ann 1253 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.
