Barbara Ann Brown Burnett, 84, of Lawrenceville, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 15, 2016 at Compassionate Care Hospice, Hamilton, NJ. Born in Norristown, PA, to Richard T. and Abigail Brown (nee Yerger). Barbara was a resident of Lawrenceville for 54 years. She received her BS RN from Trenton State College, now known as the College of New Jersey. Barbara was a registered nurse for Conair Corporation and The Lawrenceville Nursing Home and also did private duty nursing. Upon retiring, she was an antique dealer and had a booth at The Tomato Factory in Hopewell. Barbara was a member of The Presbyterian Church of Lawrenceville and enjoyed swimming at the Quarry Swim Club in Hopewell. Daughter of the late Richard T. and Abigail Brown, sister of the late Richard T. Brown, Jr. and former spouse Bruce B. Burnett who passed away in 1996; she is survived by her daughter Kim Burnett of Delaware, her son and his partner Kip Burnett and Joyce Shay of New Jersey; her brother and sister Thomas Brown and Susan Vessey both of Pennsylvania. A Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at 1:00PM at The Presbyterian Church of Lawrenceville 2688 Main Street, Lawrenceville with Reverend Jeffrey Vamos officiating. Interment will be held privately and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Pet Rescue of Mercer P.O. Box 2574 Hamilton, New Jersey 08690
