After 29 years of service to Princeton High School NJ, Mrs. Davis retired in June 2001. She was a member of the National Education Association of Teachers. Mrs. Davis was a long time active member of the Lawrenceville Presbyterian Church Choir where she loved to raise her voice in harmony with their wonderfully talented choir group. On the Mission Committee at the Lawrenceville Presbyterian Church, she worked closely with the committee members to determine the optimum allocation of church funds for their critical mission works. Through the Church, Mrs. Davis dedicated herself to working with NJ prisoners to help them in creating poetry and with their writing and storytelling skills, improving their self-esteem and helping them in their personal growth. In her most recent years, as a member of the Create & Relate Group, Mrs. Davis brought her enthusiasm and supportive personality to the group meetings where she did more relating than creating. Davis Jr., and two sons and two daughters-in-law, Dale and Carol Davis of Chester NJ and Bradford and Martha Davis of Pennington NJ, four grandchildren, Dale Davis IV, Brandt, Kaitlyn, and Leila Jean Davis, and her great grandchildren Bryn and Declan.
