Brian Philip Everett, 76, of Lawrenceville passed away on Friday, July 8, 2016 at Monroe Village Care Center, Monroe Twp., NJ. Born and raised in Concord, New Hampshire, he resided in Philadelphia and Central New Jersey areas for the last 40 years. A graduate of St. Anselm College in Manchester, NH, Mr. Everett attended Ringling School of Art in Sarasota, FL and studied for several years with the Religious Order of Carmelite Friars. He was a Veteran of the US Army, having served with the Army Security Agency, assigned to the Defense Language Institute, Monterey, CA, where he was honored with the Maxwell D. Taylor Award for his mastery of the Chinese Mandarin Language. He served as an Army translator on the Island of Okinawa. A former certified court stenographer in the Philadelphia Courts, Mr. Everett served as Executive Assistant to the Superintendent of Schools in Lawrence Twp. (NJ) Public Schools until his retirement. Son of the late Glenn and Mary Welsh Everett; brother of the late Donald Everett, Gwenyth Greely and Sally Walsh; he is survived by his wife Mary Kay Everett; many nieces nephews and cousins.
