Marie Gladys Daout, 68, of Yardville, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, June 13, 2016 surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Port au-Prince, Haiti, Marie Gladys was a longtime resident of Princeton, before moving to Yardville 15 years ago. She was a nursing assistant at Princeton Nursing Home and the Greenwood House in Ewing. Marie Gladys was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and sister who loved cooking and spending time with family and friends. She will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her.
Daughter of the late Luc and Romaine Souffrant; she is survived by her children and their spouses Regine Stephanie Jean-Baptiste and her husband Majeur, her son Reginald J. Daout and his wife Jenna; her grandchildren Malouka Reyaine Gauthier, Krystana Gabrielle Gauthier, D’Jovanni Bodler Baptiste and Olivia Carmel Daout; her siblings Juslenne Romelus, Marie Carmel Jean, Andre Souffrant, Denise Souffrant, Marie Rose Souffrant; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, June 17, 2016 at 11AM at St. Anthony’s Roman Catholic Church 626 S. Olden Avenue, Trenton, NJ.
Interment will follow at Colonial Memorial Park, Hamilton.
Relatives and friends can call on Friday morning from 10AM until the time of the Mass at the church.
