Martha "Marti" Louise Palmere, 84, formerly of Ewing Township died peacefully on Thursday at her home in Warminster, PA. Born in Connellsville, Pennsylvania she was a long time resident of Ewing before moving to Warminster in 2008. Marti was a teacher her entire career and taught in the Lawrence Twp School District also at Trenton State College, now the College of NJ and finished her teaching career with the West Windsor-Plainsboro Regional School System. Marti worked for Educational Testing Services (ETS) of Princeton for many years as a reader, scoring leader, and chief reader for most of the essay based tests offer by ETS. She was also a master ginger bread cookie baker! Daughter of the late William and Carrie Lawson, wife of the late Vincent W. Palmere and mother of the late Tod Palmere, Marti is survived by her sister, Betty Hosey and many loving nieces and nephews and legions of devoted former students and colleagues. A private family service was held under the direction of Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, Lawrenceville, NJ. A Public Memorial Service will be announced in August.
