Obituary of Marilyn Sikora

Marilyn Radio Sikora, 81, of Lawrenceville, N.J., died Thursday, May 5, 2016 at home . Marilyn was born in Ormrod, Pa to John and Mary Harbowy Radio on February 19, 1935. Marilyn was a Certified Travel Counsellor, a member of Institute of Certified Travel Agents and was a manager for Revere Travel-American Express at the Palmer Square office in Princeton, NJ from 1975-1993. She was a member of the Princeton Chamber of Commerce, where she was Chairman of the Board in 1991, and a member of the Princeton Rotary Club, Princeton Business Association, the Princeton Retailers Association, the Princeton Business Professional Women’s Organization, the American Business Women’s Business Women’s Organization, Cable Board Member of Lawrence Township, member of the Saint Ann’s Resurrection Choir at Saint Ann’s Church in Lawrenceville. Marilyn was also a volunteer reader for the NJ Library for the Blind and Handicapped and a volunteer Eucharistic minister at St. Lawrenceville Rehabilitation Center. Marilyn’s generosity and love will be missed by all who knew her. Marilyn is survived by her husband of 59 years, George J. Sikora; her daughter Elizabeth Sikora; son Michael G. Sikora and his wife Maureen Sikora, and four beloved grandchildren: Jillian Starkey, Michael P. Sikora, Steven J. Sikora, and Christina Sikora. The funeral will begin on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at 9AM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10AM at The Church of St. Ann 1253, Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton Twp. Relatives and friends can gather on Tuesday evening from 6-8PM at the funeral home.
