Obituary of Marilyn Helen Cahill

Marilyn Helen Cahill, 80, of Mercerville, died Tuesday at home. Born in Trenton and a former Ewing resident, she had resided in Mercerville since 1963. Mrs. Cahill was a graduate of Trenton High School and the McKinley Hospital School of Nursing. She was a devoted member of the Fellowship Baptist Church in West Windsor. Daughter of the late John C. Monk Jr. and Elmyra Pierson Monk, stepdaughter of the late Elizabeth Pierson Monk, sister of the late Edie Frie and Jack Monk, and wife of the late Timothy J. Cahill, she is survived by two her sons Timothy J. Cahill and John W. Cahill. Also surviving are three sisters Patricia Davison, Janice Haigis and Nancy Vinch , a brother Jerry Monk, a sister-in-law Kathleen Parzyck and several Nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held on Thursday at 11AM from Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville with the Reverend David Spiegel, Pastor, of the Fellowship Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood cemetery in Hamilton. Family and friends may call on Thursday from 10 to 11AM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions in Marilyn's name be made to the Fellowship Baptist Church, 826 Village Road West, West Windsor, NJ 08550.
