Betsy Ann Scott, 84, of Hamilton Square, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, January 21, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Brooklyn, NY, Betsy was a longtime resident of Ewing, until recently moving to Hamilton Square. She was a graduate of Trenton High School and Rider University. Betsy was a member of Central Baptist a Christ Centered Church in Ewing. Some of her hobbies included reading, knitting and traveling to St. Thomas. Betsy was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt and friend who will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her. Daughter of the late Walter and Olga Ziegler, sister of the late Carol Radell, wife of the late Daniel C. Scott; she is survived by her son Dr. Jeffrey Scott, her daughter and son-in-law Susan and Dr. Francis O’Malley; her grandson Justin Scott; three nieces Betsy Baldwin, Cathy Young and Maren Cosgrove. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 28, 2016 at 11AM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648 with the Rev. Richard Gay officiating. Interment will be held privately in Ewing Church Cemetery. Relatives and friends can call on Thursday morning from 9-11AM at the funeral home.
