Obituary of Barbara A. Konscol

Barbara A. Konscol (nee Medica), 51, of Trenton, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday at Compassionate Care Hospice, Trenton, NJ. Born in Trenton, NJ, she was a longtime area resident. Barbara was a member of Shady Rest Bible Church in Chesterfield. Some of her hobbies included baking and cooking. Barbara was very religious, enjoyed helping others and put others before herself. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. Daughter of the late Bertha J. Medica, mother of the late Michael Konscol; she is survived by her husband Michael Konscol; 2 daughters Mary Mae Konscol and her fiancée Jim White and Skylar Horner; her father Richard Medica; her siblings Richard Medica, Linda Lombardo (Phil), Joe Medica (Rena), Bernadette “Bonnie” Nagle (Ed) and Lisa Medica; several nieces and nephews who she held very close to her heart, many cousins; her “special sister” Tracy Bauer Todd and very special friends Bob, and Wendy Hughes Bishop. Also surviving are her brothers-in law, Daniel Konscol and his girlfriend Betty, and Howard Konscol and sister-in law Annie and her husband Mark. Funeral services for Barbara will be held on Thursday at 11 Am at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648. The Rev. Adrian Pina of Shady Rest Bible Church will officiate. Burial will follow in the Ewing Cemetery, Ewing, NJ Relatives and friends may call on Wednesday, (Today) October 23 from 6-9 PM and again on Thursday October 24 from 10-11AM at the funeral home. As per the family’s wishes, they ask that the attendees wear something “Pink” in honor of Barbara and Breast Cancer Month. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made payable to Michael Konscol.
