Obituary of June M. Souder

June M. Souder, 84, of Linwood, NJ died peacefully Monday, January 7 at home with her daughter by her side. Born in Trenton she was raised in Princeton until 1940 when her family relocated to Linwood. She was an alumni of Pleasantville High School, Class of 1945 and continued her education at Douglas College in New Brunswick. In 1948 she married her high school sweetheart and together they lived in Hamilton Square, NJ prior to moving to Yardley, PA in 1960 until his passing in1992. She then relocated back to Linwood permanently in 1993. Daughter of the late Clifford and Hazel Duncan Mount, wife of the late Richard W. Souder, Sr., and sister of the late Patricia and Elizabeth Ann Mount; she is survived by her daughter, Donna S. Parell and her husband Joseph, III and her grandchildren, Jamie Lyn Parell and Joseph C. Parell, IV all of Yardley; also surviving are her son, daughter-in-law and grandson from Virginia as well as several cousins, including Carol Pierson of Cranbury, NJ and many close friends. Graveside services will be held on Friday, January 11at 11 AM at the Brainard Cemetery in Cranbury, NJ with the Rev. Nina Reeder, Pastor of the Lawrence Road Presbyterian Church officiating.
