Jeanette Scott, 101, of Trenton, died on Wednesday at Royal Health Gate Nursing and Rehabilitation in Trenton.
Born in Trenton she was a life long resident.
Jeanette was employed for many years at the Shop Rite deli counter in Trenton and had also worked at Foster Yarn. She was a lifelong member of St. James R.C. Church in Trenton.
Daughter of the late Ettore and Antoinette Miller Scott (Scaccia), and sister of the late: Madeline Longo and her husband Nicholas, Phyllis Scartocci and her husband Albert, and Carl Scott and his wife Florence, she is survived by her nieces and nephews: Connie DePula, Arthur Longo and his wife Lucy, Antoinette Ficci, Janet Reininger and her husband Dave, Nicholas Longo and his wife Marlene, Jean Corso, Frances Scartocci, Lewis Scartocci and his wife Susan, Roseann Tulli and her husband Sante, and Linda Koenig and her husband Norman, and many great nieces and great nephews. She was predeceased by her nephews: Edward Scartocci, Albert DePula, Joseph Ficci, and James Corso.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 11 AM at St. James R.C. Church, 29 E Paul Ave., Trenton. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hamilton.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville.
Memorial contributions may be made in Jeanette’s name to Hospice of New Jersey, 40 Bey Lea Road, Suite A202, Toms River, NJ 08753.
