It was just a few years ago when Uncle Foddy & Aunt Joan came down to visit my mother & his sister, Betty.He knew that she had been in ill health & he wanted to come & see her before she passed away.That meant so much to all our family,because we know that it was not an easy trip for them.It made my mother so happy & they had such a good time reminiscing about the good old days.My Mother kept a picture of Foddy & Joan on their wedding day & I always thought that was the most beautiful wedding picture that I had ever seen.I also have letters that were written by my father to my mother during the war & he was always telling her to let Foddy know that he'd better be good or when he got out of the service, he would straighten him out! I am not sure who was more orney,my dad or Foddy! Our prayer is that the special memories of your beloved will create peace within your hearts in knowing that his was a life well lived.
