Obituary of Stewart K. Good

Stewart K. Good, Jr., 64, of West Amwell, died Wednesday at John F. Kennedy Medical Center in Edison. Born in Perth Amboy, he had resided in West Amwell for the last thirty-three years. Stu was a former customer sales representative with New Jersey Bell Telephone and later with Verizon. He retired in 2001 after thirty-one years of service and went on to work at GTECH in Lawrenceville where he was currently employed. He was a graduate of Rider College and loved his family, nature, gardening and animals. Stu was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. Son of the late Stewart K. Good Sr., he is survived by his mother Veronica Shimko Good, his wife Verna Reed Good, a son Reverend Kenneth S. Good and his wife Aurelia, a daughter Laura Semko and her husband Michael. Also surviving are six grand children Adam, Jared, Nathaniel and Kara Semko, Sophie and Isabelle Good, three brothers, Martin Good and his wife Laura, David Good, William Good and his wife Elaine, his father and mother-in-law Vernon and Joyce Reed, and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held on Sunday at 6 PM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville with Reverend Peter Gregory, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church of Lambertville officiating. Family and friends may call on Sunday from 4 to 6 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
