Obituary of Mary Louise Harrison

Mary Louise Harrison, 96, of Lawrenceville, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 7, 2024 at Capital Health Medical Center, Hopewell.

 

Born in Hunterdon County, NJ, she was a longtime resident of Lawrenceville.  Mary worked for the NJ State Police, where she was a clerk typist, and later retired as a teacher’s assistant with the Mercer County Special Services School District.  Mary was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Ewing for many years and volunteered for the Interfaith Hospitality Network through the church.

 

Daughter of the late John and Catharine Parkes, wife of the late James W. Harrison; she is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law Mark James and Lisa Ann Harrison, and David James and Colleen Harrison; her grandchildren Taylor Ann (Matthew) Margon, Thomas Higgins Harrison, and Olivia Harrison.

 

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September11, 2024 at 11AM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.

 

Interment will follow in Lawrenceville Cemetery.

 

The visitation for Mary will be held on Wednesday morning from 10-11AM at the funeral home.
